In June, the company announced the new Padrón Dámaso, named after Dámaso Padrón - grandfather of José O. Padrón - and the first family member to grow tobacco in Cuba. Padrón’s cigars are noted for generally being fuller (some say stronger) and made almost exclusively of Nicaraguan tobacco. Things have changed for the Padron Damaso, it’s a milder, round Padrón packed in cellophane and will have a Connecticut Seed wrapper with Nicaraguan Filler and Binder. The new Cigars will be in 4 sizes, each cigar represents an age of four of Jose O Padrons grandchildren.
